The app is aimed at people who suffer from chronic lung or cardiovascular diseases or an infection. It is intended to support them during the acute\/chronic phase of their illness or during aftercare. SaniQ is designed to enable well-founded self-monitoring as well as monitoring by healthcare professionals.<\/p>

The app can be used for telemedical monitoring by support staff (e.g. the attending physician, the practice providing treatment or employees of a service centre) after the necessary connection has been established.<\/p>

In the following, these persons or institutions are referred to as telemedical support providers. The corresponding software solution is called SaniQ Praxis. In the following, we refer to the user of the SaniQ app as the user.<\/p>

The app can be obtained by the user independently from an app store and used exclusively for self-monitoring. The user can log measurement data relevant to their clinical picture and receive support (e.g. measurement reminders) in dealing with their health. It is therefore an instrument for analysing and monitoring one's own health.<\/p>

If the user has received an activation code for SaniQ Praxis from telemedical support providers,<\/p>

he can enter this within the app. After this entry and comparison of the user's date of birth, all recorded data - unless otherwise communicated in the app - is sent online to the SaniQ analysis software for telemedical support providers. This data can be accessed by telemedical support staff. Telemedical support staff can view the transmitted values and support the user.<\/p>

The use of SaniQ expressly does not replace a necessary physical visit to a doctor.<\/p>

Within the SaniQ app, users have the option of preparing and exporting all measurement data in a PDF file. The SaniQ app may only be used by persons who are at least 16 years old. The collection or processing of personal data from persons under the age of 16 is expressly against our will and without our knowledge. Furthermore, this constitutes a violation of our General Terms and Conditions.<\/p>

In the following, the term \"SaniQ app in self-monitoring\" refers to the standard version of SaniQ without a connection to SaniQ Praxis. The SaniQ Praxis telemonitoring web application is designed exclusively for doctors and healthcare professionals. Its purpose is to provide a highly secure platform through which healthcare professionals are able to transmit, analyse and manage health data and information in real time. The application enables continuous remote monitoring of patients and their health conditions in order to optimise medical decision-making processes, detect early warning signs and thereby improve the quality of healthcare.
