Telemonitoring: Why is it good for me?
With telemonitoring, your heart health is monitored by your cardiologist's practice using the patient app SaniQ HEART monitored remotely. You benefit from this in several ways.
1. data-based therapy
Your daily measured vital signs provide a deep insight into the course of your illness - and data-based optimization of therapy.
2. increased protection
SaniQ automatically recognizes when your vital signs exceed critical values. In this way, episodes of illness (decompensations) can be prevented like our Case study shows.
3. more competence
Measuring and monitoring your vital signs improves your understanding of your illness and increases your ability to actively participate in therapy.

Telemonitoring with SaniQ - how does it work?
Telemonitoring with SaniQ HERZ is child's play: you measure your values every day and the technology takes care of the rest.
To get started with telemonitoring, you will receive a starter pack from us with 3 measuring devices and detailed instructions on how to use them. Installation and use of the SaniQ patient app.
The application:
- Guided by the patient app, you carry out a measurement once a day with each of the 3 measuring devices (blood pressure, weight, ECG).
- The values are automatically transferred to the SaniQ patient app and the practice software.
- If one of the values is outside the normal range, your cardiologist will be informed immediately. Your cardiologist can then initiate therapeutic countermeasures.
3 steps to telemonitoring
Talk to your cardiology practice about the possibility of telemonitoring. With SaniQ, you can quickly start telemonitoring together - for advanced patients, the costs are fully covered by health insurance!
For your health insurance company to cover the costs of telemonitoring, you must meet the following medical requirements:
- You have been diagnosed with stage NYHA II or NYHA III heart failure with an ejection fraction < 40%
- You have been hospitalized for cardiac decompensation within the last 12 months or have an implanted cardiac device (ICD, CRT-P, CRT-D)
- They are cognitively, physically and technically capable of participating in telemonitoring
Talk to a doctor
Take our doctor's information (see below) with you to your next appointment at your cardiologist's practice and talk to your doctor about participating in telemonitoring.
Let us guide you
As soon as your cardiology practice is connected to SaniQ, your doctor will provide you with instructions on telemonitoring and how to use the SaniQ patient app.
Start telemonitoring
Finally, your doctor will give you the access data for the patient app and our device set for measuring your vital signs - and you're ready to go!
