Kardiologie

With telemonitoring, your heart health is monitored by your cardiologist's practice using the app SaniQ remotely monitored. You benefit from this in several ways.

SaniQ Patienten-App

Your advantages as a patient

1. data-based therapy

Your vital signs, measured daily, give you and your responsible doctor's office a deep insight into the course of your disease - and a valuable database for optimising therapy.

2. protection against decompensation

The SaniQ app automatically notifies you and your practice when your vital signs exceed critical limits. This helps to prevent cardiac decompensation, as you can see from our Case study shows.

3. communicate more easily

Via chat and video consultation of the
SaniQ App, you can communicate conveniently with your practice and share findings or lab results - this also reduces the number of practice visits.

4. more independence

Measuring and monitoring your vital signs over time allows you to better assess your own condition and actively participate in treatment decisions.

Telemonitoring with SaniQ -
This is how it works

The SaniQ platform works in combination with a patient app and the "SaniQ Praxis" software for doctors.

Patient app

You download the SaniQ app onto your smartphone and measure your vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, weight) with electronic measuring devices. These send the values directly to the app via Bluetooth.

The app transmits the values directly to the SaniQ practice software. They provide doctors with important data for optimising therapy.

3 steps to telemonitoring

With SaniQ, you can quickly start telemonitoring with your treating cardiologist - for high-risk patients, the costs are completely covered by the health insurance!

In order for your health insurance to cover the costs of telemonitoring, you must meet the following medical requirements:

  • You have been diagnosed with stage NYHA II or NYHA III heart failure with an ejection fraction < 40%
  • You have been hospitalised for cardiac decompensation within the last 12 months or are the wearer of an implanted cardiac aggregate (ICD, CRT-P, CRT-D).
  • They are cognitively, physically and technically able to participate in telemonitoring.
Step 1

Talk to doctor

Take our doctor's info (see below) with you to your next appointment at your specialist cardiology practice and talk to your doctor about participating in telemonitoring.

Step 2

Be guided

Once your cardiology practice is connected to SaniQ, you will receive a briefing from your doctor on telemonitoring and how to use the SaniQ patient app.

Step 3

Start telemonitoring

Finally, you will receive the access data for the patient app from your doctor as well as our device set for measuring your vital signs - and you are ready to go!
